Dog Hobble

The dog-hobble was VERY poky. The pokes were shaped like a barb on a fishing hook. If you rubbed your finger one way you couldn't tell it was poky, but if you rubbed your finger the other way it cut you.
It is called dog-hobble because when the hunting dogs chased bears, the bears could tear through it but the dogs got stuck.
We walked past it because it looked a lot like rhododendron. So when we got to the end I went back and found it. I basically had to rub my finger down every leaf of every plant to find it.
