Abram's Falls

When we read in our read-aloud ( Autumn Winifred Oliver...) about Abram's creek flooding due to the logging of the lumber companies, I became excited remembering the many times I have hiked to the falls or backpacked at Abram's creek. As a matter of fact, Eddie & I were camping at Abram's creek along with our nephew Caleb when we too were caught in a flood.

Isaac found an awesome photo of the falls.

Our favorite hike is the Little Bottoms Trail from the Abram's Creek Ranger Station.

And check out Isaac hiking this trail on his first backpacking trip. He carried a 3-5 pound pack the 2.8 miles we hiked.
